The Leiden International Medical Student Conference (LIMSC) is one of the largest (bio-) medical student conferences
in Europe. During the seventh edition we will welcome 700 visitors from 60 different countries. At the conference, students will present their research to a wide international audience. LIMSC is open to everyone who is interested. As a visitor, you can participate in the entire scientific program. This includes attending the presentations of the student researchers, learning about international research, participating in interactive and challenging workshops, and being inspired by leading international (biomedical) scientists.
Guest speakers LIMSC 2011: Professor Meredith Hawkins: Tackling the Multi-Organ Pathogenesis of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Professor Yadin Dudai: Predicting not to predict too much: How the memory machinery in our brain anticipates the uncertain future. Professor Michel Ferrari: Migraine, from myths to hereditary brain disorder. Professor Adolfo Garcia-Sastre: Evasion of interferon responses by two hemorrhagic fever viruses.
