The 12th International Congress for Medical Students and Young Doctors
Medicalis 2011 will be held from the 12thuntil the 15th of May, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The aim of our congress is to encourage students’ medical research activity, create valuable learning opportunities and gather international students in the heart of Transylvania so that they could share experience, build friendships and have fun together.
The congress is structured in 4 “classical” sections:
- Fundamental Sciences;
- Surgical Sciences;
- Medical Sciences;
- Poster Presentations.
In addition, for this year’s edition we added two new sections:
- Clinical Cases, designed for interactive medical debates
- Public Health

The IHSConference is organized to celebrate the new name of the university – Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. Therefore the university and its student organizations invite students from all around the world to participate in the international student event in Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
The Conference will offer a good opportunity to present research works in the fields of:
- fundamental medicine,
- surgery,
- biomedicine,
- dentistry,
- pharmacy,
- public health,
and contend with the best research works, be evaluated by competent specialists, participate in various seminars, build friendly and professional relationships and share experience.
The event will take place in the facilities of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. You will be offered a social program allowing you to experience the student city spirit of Kaunas.
Best research works and posters will be awarded with a prize pool of 1500 €.

Along the past 18 years, Ain Shams University Students’ Scientific Society has annually organized one of the world’s most well renowned and prestigious events in the field of medical research. The 19th Ain Shams International Medical Students’ Congress comes in continuation to the efforts exerted and the experience gained over the past years.

Every Medical student and young doctor, who is interested in research and has been involved in a worthwhile medical research, is invited.

Awards
In the name and memory of our beloved professor, Dr. Ali Khalifa, four prizes are awarded at the end of the conference to the winners and runner-ups for both the oral and poster competitions.

The tour also includes both an over day trip toLuxor ,which is the ancient capital of Egypt known to host almost one third of all the world’s antiquities, and a Red Sea offshore trip.
