Conference Surfing Medicine!

Come to our first conference on surfing medicine in Europe! The European Association of Surfing Doctors, with its partners SurfAid International, and Surfrider Foundation will be holding its first annual conference on surfing medicine in Sagres, Portugal, from June 8-10, 2012. Application for this conference is open to all doctors and medical students interested in surfing-related medicine.

The program includes hot items in surfing and wilderness medicine, an opening BBQ on the beach, two surfing sessions per day and the first “Surfing Championship for Doctors”. Presentations will be given by internationally renowned speakers for an European audience of doctors of different disciplines, ranging from dermatologists to expedition medics, and from ophthalmologists to emergency physicians.
