INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL SCIENCES STUDENT CONGRESS

IMSSC 10-13 MAY 2012, ISTANBUL FACULTY OF MEDICINE ,TURKEY

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to 23rd International Medical Sciences Student Congress (IMSSC) that will be held in May 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey.

IMSSC was the first student congress of medical sciences and since 2006, it has been organized by Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine biannually. We are proud to welcome you to IMSSC for the 23rd time.

IMSSC aims to bring medical students from all around the world in order to present their research, share their experiences, learn most current developments, interact with other students and enjoy the beauty of Istanbul. Throughout the conference, delegates will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss their work and gain different aspects on medical subjects.

The congress is organized by Student Scientific Research Club (SSRC) of University of Istanbul, Faculty of Medicine. This year, IMSSC will take place in May in Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. Customarily, there will be oral and poster presentations eachto be considered as a candidate for awards. Any subject of medicine will be accepted for presentation in IMSSC, therefore both oral and poster sessions will ensure that a wide spectrum of medical topics will be discussed. Besides, the congress schedule includes social programme through which you can enjoy the spectacular city, Istanbul uniquely straddling both the continents of Europe and Asia.

This year apart from the other years we have decided to spare the last day of our congress (13th May) for the 1st International Students' Stem Cell Congress that will be organized on behalf of Turkish Students' Concil of Stem Cell under Istanbul Universtiy Students' Club of Stem Cell organization. This congress will be the first of the stem cell congress series.
