De SSRH-commissie organiseert deze zomer voor de vijfde keer een tien-daagse summer school voor studenten vanuit de hele wereld. De Summerschool in Groningen staat geheel in het teken van voortplantingsgezondheid. Studenten komen vanuit Tunesië tot aan China en van Rusland tot Canada, naar Groningen voor lezingen en workshops over uiteenlopende subtopics zoals gender dysmorphia, abortus, urologie. Daarnaast wordt er ook gezorgd voor een uitgebreid sociaal programma met knallers zoals punteren in Giethoorn, een International Cooking Event en een weekend in Amsterdam.
Uit voorgaande edities blijkt dat het onderwijs van hoge kwaliteit is en daarnaast maken de deelnemers vrienden voor het leven: de gemiddelde studentenbeoorlding van 2009 was een 9,2! Summerschool on Reproductive Health
 This summer it is already the 5th time IFMSA-Groningen is organizing the Summer School on Reproductive Health!
And we are very proud to present again a diverse, interesting educational programme, this year with the theme ‘Universal Aspects of Reproductive Health’.
Some of the topics are gynaecology, urology, infertility, genital mutilation, abortion and sexual transmittable diseases. The lectures will be given in an interactive way by professors and doctors from the University Medical Center Groningen. Many workshops, excursions and patient demonstrations are a part of the programme.
After the educational programme, there will of course be a great social programme in the evenings and the weekends! You will get to know the Dutch way of ‘having fun’, discover the Netherlands and make a lot of new international friends during our various activities.

The Summer School on Reproductive Health is a great opportunity to meet other students who are interested in reproductive health, to discuss the topics with them and to have a lot of fun together during the social programme!
