Location

Stayokay Utrecht-Bunnik is uniquely situated in a forest area on the banks of the Kromme Rijn, less than 5 km from the city of Utrecht. Utrecht is situated in the centre of the Netherlands which makes travelling to the location very easy. From the main airport of the Netherlands -Schiphol- it takes less than one and a half hour to the location by public transport. By picking up the participants from the central train station in Utrecht the travel time will be reduced.

Buildings

The hostel consists of three buildings: two dating from 1830 that preserve the historic atmosphere of the location and the main building ‘De Ridderhofstad’, which has three different restaurant halls and room for nearly 80 guests. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be held here. All meals are accommodated by Stayokay Utrecht-Bunnik. 
The building ‘In de Bongerd’, which stands separately from the other buildings, is particularly suitable for groups. This building, which has its own recreation room and outdoor seating facilities, can accommodate sixty-three guests. The conference will be held in this building and also the sleeping facilities of this building will be used. The recreation room of ‘de Bongerd’ is where the social program will take place.
The building ‘de Bongerd’ will be completely reserved for the NECSE participants. If there are more participants than this building can accommodate the Ridderhofstad which is bigger will be used.
Finally there is a bar in the adjacent carriage house which has a historic theme.
